The Firm has significant experience with government agencies. Cheryl Cronin and Steve Leonard both served as Assistant Attorneys General; Cheryl was also General Counsel of a state agency. Those experiences, and our subsequent work handling a wide variety of cases for private clients, enables us to understand fully the impact that executive and regulatory agencies can have on our clients’ interests. Our work in this area includes

-defense of a wide range of enforcement matters

-promulgation of appropriate regulations affecting client business and other interests

-permitting and licensing

-obtaining advisory opinions which correctly and fairly apply law and facts to clients

-effective and rigorous advocacy of clients’ interests in the face of anticipated agency decisions

The credible and substantive relationships we have with key decision-makers in the executive, regulatory and administrative areas permit us to engage in forceful and effective advocacy for our clients.
